Coyote and Selected Poems by

Kiss

Outside of all this I longed for your kiss,
 first touch of your lips,
 your tongue,
 that warm, warm mouth,
 but there's no delicate word
 for the taste of saliva,
 no,
but that deep kiss would taste so good.  It would taste so good
even if I could never name it.
